An even mini-er mini library

Hey guys,

I'm still going through the process of unpacking all of the stuff (mainly books) that I've brought back home with me from my Xmas/New Year's holiday.

Today I've come to the unsettling realisation, that book dragons like myself tend to do from time to time, that I simply must get some new bookshelves.

The problem is never having too many books (such a thing is impossible) but simply not having the necessary shelving to house said books.

So, I have set about acquiring some new shelves and have located a (rather messy) corner of my office that I'm certain shall make a suitable mini library space here in my house.

Now, this new mini library should not be confused with the mini library that I've built in my garage (that's got all of my nice 'display' read books in it) or my downstairs lounge mini library (that's got all of the books I've read, that don't quite make the cut for my pretty display mini library, in it).

No, this new mini library shall house books from my (ever-growing) TBR - aka the massive collection of books that I've bought but have yet to read.

However, this new mini library for my TBR shouldn't be confused with my mini window library (which sits on the landing outside of my bedroom) or the mini library that is, in fact, just my entire bedroom - which is full to the brim of shelves overflowing with books.

Really, I don't see how anyone could get confused...

Anyway, I popped to (my beloved) Home Bargains on my lunch hour and grabbed some shelving units that I hope will do the trick. At the minute I've got some shoe racks in here that, quite frankly, aren't up to the task of supporting the weight of all these books.

This evening I shall set about building this little library - I think it'll make a nice cubby to film content in whilst it's too cold for me to be working out in the (unhealed) garage - which I have to use extension cords to light up.

Wish me luck on this evening's (mis)adventures!

God, I love DIY!!!
